KEBEL at YAMPFAIR 2026: A Recap from China's Export Auto Parts Hub

Sep 29, 2026

The show, in brief

From 12–14 September 2026, the KEBEL team exhibited at the 11th China Yiwu International Auto & Motorcycle Parts and Accessories Trade Fair (YAMPFAIR) at the Yiwu International Expo Center. Three days in the city that built its name on trade, and one clear message: for the export aftermarket, the Yangtze River Delta is still where the action is. Here is a short recap from the floor.

The show, in brief

YAMPFAIR is not a car show. It is an export trade fair — and that distinction is its whole value.

The 11th edition ran to more than 34,000 m² of exhibition space, over 1,400 exhibitors, and 30,000+ professional visitors. Its defining feature, according to the organizers and the trade press, is the density of overseas small and mid-size buyers — the kind that keep a factory's export pipeline full for a year, not just a trade season. Factories exporting wear parts, motorcycle parts, commercial-vehicle components, and maintenance products come to Yiwu specifically to develop overseas dealers, and the fair has built its reputation as the barometer of China's foreign-trade auto parts industry.

The location is no accident either. Yiwu is known worldwide as a trading hub: thousands of trading companies and international buyers move through its markets every year, and the auto parts fair rides that same commercial flow. For a supplier, three days in Yiwu concentrate more export-oriented buyers in one building than most weeks of cold outreach produce elsewhere.

What KEBEL brought

Our booth was built around the core of the company: aftermarket exterior parts — bumpers, grilles, hoods, headlights, fenders, and cooling systems — covering American, European, and Japanese makes.

Two things were deliberately put on the table:

  • Fitment coverage. For whatever application a buyer pulled from their own list, the answer had to be specific — year, trim, market variant — not a general "yes, we can do that." The same data discipline we apply to the export program, shown live.
  • Export-ready terms. Landed pricing, agent service to the buyer's warehouse, 100% photo and video checks before every shipment, and the certifications the target market asks for — CE, DOT, SABER, e-MARK. For an export fair, those lines on the board are the short version of "you can ship with us without surprises."

Exterior parts are a natural fit for this kind of show, for a practical reason: they are the parts a buyer can quote, photograph, and reorder immediately. And because the visitors at Yiwu are traders and importers rather than workshop technicians, the conversation at the table was about programs, not single SKUs — which applications to cover, how deep, and how fast the next container can move.

What three days in Yiwu confirmed

  1. Export buyers price logistics before features. The early questions were landed cost, delivery terms, and lead time — fitment came next, price last. That order matters: a buyer who trusts the logistics answer moves on to product; a buyer who does not never gets there. A supplier who answers the first three clearly earns the fourth conversation.
  2. The fitment question is universal. Whatever market the buyer sources for, the opening question is the same: "does it fit my exact year and trim?" In a category like bumpers, where a few millimeters decide the install, that question is the entire first sale — and it is the question our fitment data exists to answer.
  3. The show is the beginning. Yiwu, Frankfurt, any floor — the value of three days of meetings lands in the weeks after, when samples go out and the first orders get negotiated. The booth photo says "hello"; the follow-up says "we deliver."

What's next

  • Follow-up with every buyer who stopped at the stand — if you met us in Yiwu and we haven't been in touch yet, tell us and we will pick it up.
  • The applications that came up but are not yet on our board are already with the product team.
  • And as always: your fitment list, sent to us or posted to kebelcarbumper.com, is the fastest way to start the conversation without waiting for the next show.

Thank you to everyone who came to the KEBEL booth in Yiwu.
